Below is the list of books I’ve read so far this year – 2011. I tend to drift towards the fantasy genre a lot of the time with reading, so I like to try and mix things up by having a rule whereby every time I’ve read a fantasy book I then have to read some non-genre fiction or something factual. I don’t always manage to keep to that (considering most fantasy books usually have 2 or more sequels, and I have to read them all in a row!) but I try to break things up after 3 genre reads just to broaden my scope. If you have any suggestions as to something I might enjoy reading, based on the list below, then please feel free to comment.

You might like the Sandman Slim books by Richard Kadrey. I just read a book called labyrinth by Michael Sullivan which reminded me of a Michael Crichton book. Quick fairly enjoyable reading. Getting Robopocalypse from the library tonight which I’ve heard good things about.
Cool. How did you find the Dark Tower books? I though the first one was a bit slow so not sure whether or not to carry on with the next one (although I did really like the gunslinger character).
