I can see why you hate Brian but I can easily see this as a series, with him losing more and more of his arrogance in the face of Betty’s loquacity and brutal honesty. The hair comment was priceless.

I like the way you write! So evocative, so interesting. Completely mesmerizing. Betty may not be the girl Brian thought she was but I’m left wondering who the heck is she really? And I adored her putdown at the end. Heh!
Perhaps that’s why he found her so intriguing – she was the only one ballsy enough to put him in his place. Their e-mail conversation was so vacuous and funny, btw.

Glad you returned to #fridayflash :) Laughed at the emails, and imagine that poor Brian won’t be able to use Betty and throw her away! Not with that tight, suffocating grip. :D
