Day 10 – Not Enough Words
“She needed to sew her eyes back on.”
I seem to have come up against a wall. I know where my story is going and I know what I want to write, I just can’t seem to get the detail on to the paper. The story and characters dictate quite a fast pace and I’m in danger of outwriting myself, i.e. the story may finish before the words run out. So I’m having a review meeting with myself this evening and I have ideas to turn this from a serious story of inner transformation into a dark comedy about killer teddy bears. .. No, I’m not. I am considering a different angle though and I think it will inject a bit of new life and some needed action into the plot.
Due to the above, my word count has fallen behind. I’m currently around the 13,300 mark which, as of this actual moment, is just under 3.5k short. I shall catch up this weekend.
